Fully automated fecal test analyzer
OC-SENSOR R70
OC-SENSOR R70 is a dedicated analyzer for Fecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) and Fecal calprotectin (FCa) measurement. As the flagship model of the OC-SENSOR series, it delivers high-throughput performance of up to 320 tests per hour.
The 2-minute video shows how colorectal cancer screening is implemented with OC-SENSOR.
OC-SENSOR R70 is the next-generation successor to the OC-SENSOR PLEDIA. Learn more about OC-SENSOR R70’s role in the field.
Growing demand for colorectal cancer screening and gastrointestinal disease management is increasing the need for efficient FIT and FCa testing. OC-SENSOR R70 provides high-throughput analysis of both biomarkers on a single platform, helping laboratories manage increasing testing volumes.
Sampling Bottle is common for FIT, FCa.
Sample preparation is completed in a single stool collection.
200 samples at one time
Continuous loading is available
High-throughput random-access testing for Fecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) and Fecal Calprotectin (FCa), with up to 320 tests per hour
On-board reagent capacity for up to 1,440 FIT tests
OC-SENSOR R70 is equipped with a built-in Peltier-cooled reagent compartment. By maintaining stable reagent temperatures, it enhances on-board reagent stability and supports even greater confidence in test results. In addition, reagents can remain on board after testing, eliminating the need to return them to a refrigerator and streamlining laboratory workflow.
Reagent Registration
Automatic reagent registration via built-in carcode reading, with optional barcode registration for QC materials and calibrators to reduce manual data entry and prevent registration errors.
Flexible Scheduling Function
Scheduled automatic start-up and programmable shutdown functions help reduce operator workload and support efficient laboratory workflow.
Mode Indentification
rack barcodes automatically identify QC, retest, and dilution retest modes to streamline workflow. Colour-coded racks improve visibility and help reduce operational errors.
Rack Detection
Testing starts automatically when a rack is loaded, eliminationg unnecessary operation steps and supporting a smooth workflow.
The automatic dilution retest function offers selectable dilution factors from 10× to 400×, allowing flexible settings for each sample position.
Dilution Retest Rack
The rack barcode is automatically read, enabling automated dilution retesting.
Features a STAT function for priority testing of up to 10 urgent samples.
The filtered sample goes into the sample cup part when squeezed by the instrument, then sampled into the reaction cuvette.
Only filtered sample solution is dispensed for analysis.
Benefits:
Eiken offers an external quality assessment service (Eiken Quality Control Survey; EQCS) for OC-SENSOR users through our local distributors. The service started in 1995 and currently more than 1700 laboratories from 35+ countries participate in the program every year. EQCS supports laboratories to assess their performance objectively by comparison of the testing results among the participants.
