Basic Policy on Disclosure

As a listed company, EIKEN CHEMICAL is fully aware that the timely disclosure of pertinent corporate information to shareholders and investors is fundamental to a healthy financial instruments marketplace. With our investors in mind, we disclose corporate information promptly, accurately, and fairly.

Disclosure Information

In compliance with the provisions of laws such as the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act as well as the regulations of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, the Company carries out timely and appropriate disclosure of information. In addition, even if information is not subject to these laws and regulations, if the Company determines it to be necessary for improving understanding of our business among stakeholders, the applicable information is disclosed promptly, accurately, and fairly.

Methods of Disclosure

In compliance with the provisions of laws such as the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act and the regulations of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, the Company discloses its information via the electronic disclosure system provided by the Financial Services Agency (EDINET) or the timely disclosure information transmission system provided by the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TDnet). In addition, information disclosed on EDINET and TDnet is posted on the Company’s website. Other information considered necessary is also posted there.

Future Predictions

Earnings forecasts and other future predictions are based on information obtainable by the Company at the time of their announcement in combination with certain conditions which can be reasonably judged. The Company does not guarantee that these predictions will be achieved. In addition, actual results may differ significantly due to various factors. In addition to working to improve the accuracy of future predictions, if major changes are made to any predictions, the Company will disclose this information as appropriate.

Quiet Periods

To prevent leakage of balance sheet information and ensure legal compliance and fairness, the time from the day after the end of each quarterly accounting period until the announcement of balance sheet information has been completed has been established as a quiet period. During this period, the Company will not answer or comment on any inquiries related to earnings forecasts, results, or predictions. However, if there is a possibility of major changes to earnings forecasts during these quiet periods, the Company will disclose this information as appropriate.
